The travel by West Ukraine in the second international meeting
of the mountain buglers in Kolomyya city
We
invite you to participate in conducting of the original cultural
festival, which will acquaint the Carpathian region of Ukraine with the
culture and traditions of Alpine and other mountain countries in
Europe. Members and guests of the festival will be also able to see the culture, customs and traditions of the Carpathian region of Ukraine, with its growing economic potential in tourism.
The main purpose of the festival is the convergence the cultures of our nations and the union our countries in the same ethnic Europe.
Participants of the festival : mountain buglers, folk groups of Ukraine, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland and Romania.
Day 1.
- Arriving in Lviv - the cultural center of Eastern Galicia. Meeting of participants, guests at the airport and the railway station.
- Dinner.
- Bus tour round Lviv(2 hours.). Lychakivsky memorial cemetery, burial
place of many prominent personalities from the history of Ukraine and
Europe. High Castle, the cradle of the city. St. George cathedral -
masterpiece of Baroque.
- Accommodation. Free time. Supper. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2.
- Breakfast.
- Tour by the medieval city (4 hours.): City town hall, Italian
court-yard, Latin Chair, Chapel of Boims as a burial-ground of the rich
burghers , Armenian church with a court-yard, a pharmacy museum, the
Opera Theatre as one of the most refined in Europe.
- Dinner.
- Moving to Kolomyya (250km).
- Accommodation. Free time. Supper. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3.
- Breakfast.
- Tour on the historic part of town. Meeting with representatives of
local authorities to introduce guests with the economic, tourist and
cultural potential of the city and the region.
- Dinner in the cafe of national kitchen "Hvalena Hata" ("Vaunted House”).
- Overlooking the exhibition of the museum "Pisanka” ( "Easter egg"),
the National Museum "Hutsulshchyna" with the richest collection of
objects and works of art of hutsuls ,the Museum of the history of
Kolomiya” with collections of documents and exhibitions of the past.
Exhibition "Austrian Kolomiya", "German settlement of Kolomyia”.
Day 4.
- Breakfast.
- Cultural program of participants on the stage of the Central Park near
the restaurant "Trembita”. Representation of Alpine buglers, players on
trembitas (the national instrument), folk groups. Speeches of groups.
Rewarding participants.
- Program in hutsuls restaurant
"Trembita”. Restaurant is build in the mountain style where the unique
and delicious hutsul’s dishes are given.
Musical compositions of
participants of the festival on trembitas, alpine bugles, mountain
bugles, performances of folk groups. Overnight at the hotel.
- Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5.
- Breakfast.
- A trip to the Carpathians. Adventure to Yaremche
town, which during the last two centuries is well known in Europe as an
air-climatic resort. Visiting a waterfall "Break" and the souvenir
market located near.
- Moving to Yablunitsky pass (920m). The unique landscape of Zacarpathia.
- Visiting the largest tourist complex of the Ukrainian Carpathians - Bukovel. The trial tour of the complex. Elevation on one of the peaks, where you can see a view of the highest peak of Ukraine - Goverla (2061m) and other peaks.
- Dinner at the restaurant "Panorama" (1127m).
- The cultural program of the festival outdoors in Bukovel.
- Returning to Kolomyya. Supper. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6.
- Breakfast.
- Leaving the hotel.
- Moving to the center of Bukovina – Chernivtsi (80 km).
- Accommodation.
- Visiting the University of Chernivtsi, the former residence of
Metropoli of Bukovina, the unique architectural ensemble. Tour on the
city "Chernivtsi during the Austrian Empire”. Chernivtsi is the city of
the German Literature "(Paul Celan. Auslyender Rose, Emanuel Vayshlas.
Visiting the " German House ".
- Dinner.
- Visiting the Museum of Folk Architecture and Life, which provides shelters from the different regions of Ukraine.
- The final performance of the festival on the central square of Chernivtsi.
- Supper. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 7.
- Breakfast. Leaving the hotel.
- Transfer to the railway and airoport station.
